Our day will start with your pick up from the hotel to take you to the airport to catch the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Once arrive there, we will transfer you to the City where we will get on our boat and begin the unforgettable journey through the Madre de Dios River. On the way, you could observe the alligators, turtles, herons, and other animals.
Arriving at the lodge, you will enjoy the exquisite typical welcome drink, and then you will settle into comfortable bungalows to have your lunch. With the help of our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, located only five minutes from the lodge, in the middle of the Madre de Dios River.
The monkey island hosts different monkey species: starting from the noisy ones, the Maquisapas, the happy Achu\u00f1is, and the very impressive Frailes, to the very little and funny \u201cleoncitos\u201d, little lions.

The day will start with the beautiful birds singing. We\u2019ll start our journey with a hike to the depths of the woods, special paths with britches to cross the gaps. During the journey, we will observe the caiman\u2019s cave. Then we will continue and arrive at the majestic Apu Victor Lake, beautiful, crystalline waters, surrounded by huge swamps, giant trees.
Later we will climb up our Amazon Peru Tours Observatory, where We will have a panoramic view of the lake, we will observe parrots, guacamayos, toucans, camungo, shanshos, herons, and If we are lucky enough we could observe one of the most spectacular animals of the jungle, the giant nutria, Then after many hours, we will return to the lodge and lunch. On the way to the train station, we will stop in the Raqchi community, where the alpaca and llama farm is located. There, you will have a chance to interact with this beautiful animals and learn about the andean textiles, after this unforgettable experience we will continue to the train station.
You must bring a valid passport for all train travel. The train ride lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes or 2 hours. After your arrival in Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu town, our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy.
