Day 1: Airport pickup – Archaeological tour – Hotel night in Cusco
Upon your arrival in Cusco, a Kaypi Peru Tours representative will be waiting to welcome you and provide a transfer to your hotel. There, you will meet your tour guide, who will likely accompany you for the remainder of your tours. Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour – Visit to the Textile Center – Train to Aguas Calientes – Hotel night in Machu Picchu
After breakfast at the hotel, your adventure begins at a traditional textile center, where you can appreciate the vibrant art of ancestral weaving. Next, explore the fascinating archaeological site of Moray, with its mysterious circular terraces, followed by the impressive Maras Salt Mines, a dazzling landscape of salt pans. The day continues at the imposing Fortress of Ollantaytambo, one of the last Inca strongholds. During the tour, you will have time for lunch in the picturesque town of Urubamba (lunch not included). Finally, you will board a scenic train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the cloud forest, preparing for the next day’s grand adventure: Machu Picchu.
Day 3: Guided tour of Machu Picchu – Train back to Cusco – Hotel night in Cusco
The day will begin early with the excitement of visiting the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aguas Calientes (you must have breakfast before the pickup time) and then head to the bus station. You will take a 25-minute bus ride to the impressive citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2.5 hours. After the tour, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch before boarding the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival at the station, a Kaypi Peru Tours representative will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
Day 4: Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain tour – Hotel night in Cusco
At 5:00 a.m., we will begin our adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. The transport will take us directly to the picturesque village of Combapata for a short break to see its colonial bridge. We will then continue to the Palcoyo checkpoint. From the Palcoyo parking lot, we will begin an approximately 45-minute hike to viewpoint number 3, which offers a panoramic view of the three rainbow mountains. After enjoying the scenery and taking photos, you will have the option to climb for another 20 minutes to the stone forest to enjoy another incredible view of the mountain. Following the hike, we will visit a village in the South Valley to enjoy a typical lunch. Finally, we will return directly to Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel door for a well-deserved rest.
Day 5 – Transfer out
As your unforgettable journey concludes, we ensure a seamless farewell. Our representative will pick you up from your hotel, carefully coordinating the schedule based on your flight for a timely and relaxed arrival at the airport.
