Day 1: Cusco – Cachora – Santa Rosa

After a swift breakfast in Cachora, we drive to the trailhead at Capuliyoc (9,560 ft), your first dramatic overlook of the colossal Apurímac Canyon. The demanding descent begins, tracing ancient paths to Chiquisqa for a rewarding lunch. The roar of water guides your final plunge to the thunderous Apurímac River.
